Meet the Matt Maldonado, a Texan through and through! From small-town ranch life to the battlegrounds, this journey has been nothing short of epic. Why law? For me, it's about defending freedom, a passion sparked by my military oath. Defending in court has been a direct progression from the physical protection through the US Military.

A father of seven, Nathaniel's Grandpa, dedicated husband, and a former Combat Medic, I rely on knowledge fostered from personal experience to advocate for my client's best interest.

A soldier in the Army for more than 20 years, I served in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. I finished up school a little later than my peers and graduated from Texas State University in 2013 and St. Mary's University School of Law in 2016. Since being licensed in 2018, I have quickly gained the reputation of being a diligent and professional trial lawyer. I love fighting in front of jury and I never sweat a trial, making prosecutors weary to not give us the deal we want. If you don't find me in the courthouse or in the office, you'll probably find me at the 5 Mile Dam Soccer Complex with the Surge Soccer Club where I coach and serve in various capacities.
